Pato's Weekend Workshops offer a completely eclectic, practical, and intensive acting boot camp where we will introduce and apply the most practical aspects of the different and prevailing methods, techniques and schools of thought in acting for film, television and theatre today. Elementary but indispensable notions of industry protocol, practices and discipline are also discussed as a compliment to the development of the professional actors. THE SINGING VOICE–BEINHORN VOCAL METHOD Led by Debbie Beinhorn
The BEINHORN VOCAL METHOD is a refreshingly contemporary and multi-dimensional approach to performance dynamics. It synchronizes the psycho-acoustic, physical, psychological and emotional properties of the mind, body and soul as a "vocal instrument." This revolutionary concept of voice training liberates a performer's ability to sing with passion as well as consistency. Ms. Beinhorn has developed practical body building principles that give actors, singers and public speakers the strength and versatility to overcome throat tension, stage fright, limited range, lack of resonance in tonal quality, "safe" singing and boring speech delivery. Amateur to major recording artists such as Clint Black, Pam Tillis and Caedmon's Call have all taken advantage of this unique vocal training approach to gain both a higher level of vocal skills and long term vocal health. Debbie Beinhorn's vocal insights are a result of more than 35 years of performing and recording experience, empirical research and experimentation with nearly 10,000 singers.
